I looked forever and couldn't find a quote for this post. I'm not sure how I feel about this whole "Monster Truck" thing. Here is my own personal quote:
"Sometimes the fear we feel as mothers is valid - even when we are laughed at."
It was a bittersweet time. Preston loved it so much!But so you better understand the quote above and the feeling of this post - Before the boys left for the evening I asked B if anyone ever gets hurt and he laughed and said they have protective barriers up. Well, a little boy was killed this evening by a flying piece of metal from one of the trucks.
There were No protective barriers. It really was a freak accident.... but..... scary
I'm going to end this post with a favorite quote of my mother's:

that is so scary! i would be bawling my eyes out - maybe i still will. that is such a terrible thing - when the parents were trying to do something fun for their little boy, you know? glad you are and your boys are ok.
what a blast! you certainly are giving your children a well rounded education. :) we would love to go to a monster truck rally! zachary can only dream of the day...
we plan to be in seattle the 20th of march, we hope there is an afternoon/evening we can come crash your party pad.
