A Good Day

Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing. ~Phyllis Diller, Phyllis Diller's Housekeeping Hints, 1966

One shiny cleaned wood floor

One sparkly clean faucet

One clean mirror to watch yourself brush your teeth

One vacuumed couch to sit on with no cereal stars that will stick to your bum

One nicely made bed with clean sheets to sleep in

Lots of new library books to read (I get more excited about this than Preston!)

Today was a good day! Cleaning lady came, I took a nap at my mom's house, and we got new library books. Days like this make me feel successful (which tells me how important it is to have other people in your life to help you out!). We can't do it alone! I must enjoy this clean house - for tomorrow it will be gone like the wind. It's a good goal to have a clean house once a month!

Your house looks so good! Especially that faucet. :) And boy do I know what you mean...seems like I clean and the next day it is all gone again.
