We had a crazy Halloween week. Never has Preston put on a costume so much!
Monday - pumpkin carving party with grandma matthews
Tuesday - Trunk or Treat at our church
Wednesday - Trunk or Treat at Heidi and B's church
Thursday - playgroup party & preschool party
Friday - Halloween (visit to Hansens, Werrys & Matthews)
Preston loved going around and getting candy, but what he enjoyed the most was giving out the candy to all the kids at Grandma Matthews house. He made sure and gave all his "spicy" candy away (Hot Tamales) first! Then he started giving away the rest of his candy when Grandpa reminded him that he can keep his candy :)
After Preston received his candy at each house he would take a second to have a small conversation with each person - i like you costume, cool skeleton you have, dots are my favorite, you have cute dogs, etc. (he's quite the conversationist like his father).
We went to a house in Heidi's neigborhood that was quite cluttered with a bunch of stuff all over the family room. Preston's conversation at this house, "You got a lot of stuff....what are you doing in here?" We all bit our tongue until the door was closed and then burst into laughter.
Wesley gets some good sugary substance with the promise that Grandma Hollie would clean him up! Yeah to a fun and no crying Halloween (last year Preston rode his bike into a garage, and the 2 years before that he cried about his costume - successful Halloween at last!) Boo Boo Boo
